1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Email address, name, and user account identifier when you create or sign in to an account.
• Health and food preferences: Allergen profile, dietary preferences, health goals, and sensitivity settings you choose in the app.
• Scan history: Products you scan, including barcode, product name, brand, image URL, product score, allergens detected, additives detected, and scan date.
• Subscription information: Premium status, product identifier, entitlement status, trial status, and expiration date. Payments are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat.
• Usage analytics: App events such as scans, product views, selected tabs, paywall views, onboarding steps, alternatives viewed, and related event properties. These analytics may be linked to your FoodTrust user account.
• Support information: Information you choose to send us when contacting support.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use your data for third-party advertising or tracking. We use trusted service providers only to operate FoodTrust:

• Supabase: Authentication, database, account data, scan history, preferences, and internal analytics storage.
• RevenueCat: Subscription status and premium entitlement management. FoodTrust does not receive your payment card details.
• Apple: App Store payments, Sign in with Apple, and subscription management.
• Open Food Facts: Product lookup data when you scan or search for food products.

4. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections when data is transmitted between the app and our service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Delete your account and associated cloud data directly in the FoodTrust app from Profile → Delete Account.
• Request deletion or assistance by contacting support.
• Request a copy of your data where required by applicable law.
